Chimney Construction & Rebuilds

A chimney sits in the harshest spot on a house: exposed to rain, wind, freeze and heat all at once. When joints fail, brick flakes or the stack leans, patching is no longer enough, and we take the chimney down carefully to sound masonry and rebuild it with new brick, full joints, a flue liner and a proper crown.

We rebuild chimneys from the roofline up, replace entire stacks from the base and build new chimneys for new fireplaces. We match the brick or stone, install flashing and counterflashing, pour a crown with an overhang and fit a cap. Across Nashville, many older chimneys have never been fully maintained, and a rebuild is often the right answer.

Will you match my existing brick?

We work to match the color, size and texture, and we show samples before we start.

Can I use the fireplace after a rebuild?

Yes, once the masonry has cured and we have checked the flue. We tell you when it is safe.
